Women are taught to carry pain—quietly, instinctively, as if it were built into our very being.

"Beneath Her" explores the feelings of feminine struggle in today’s society, questioning whether

that suffering is inherent or imposed on us as women. Grief, rage, vulnerability, shame,

exhaustion- feeling as a woman, in and of itself, is something that can feel so extreme yet

inescapable. Is this something we are born with, or something we are conditioned to endure?

Daphne delves into the physical, emotional, and societal burdens placed on women, from

the silent expectations of resilience to the pressure of fitting into roles we did

not choose. That pressure imposed onto us is woven into our sexuality along with our

relationships with ourselves and others.
